PCC depends on a community of partners and advocates to make our work possible. From the beginning, our fellow citizens have passionately and sacrificially supported our mission. The PCC community is continually expanding and we would love for you to join us in saving lives and strengthening families.
How can I get involved?
1. Take A Tour
A tour of the center is the best way to learn about our services and better understand our mission. Schedule A Tour
One of the most important ways you can help is by advocating on PCC’s behalf. Share about PCC with friends and family, invite others to attend a tour, and invite PCC to speak at your church or other events.
PCC continues to be more than 90% funded by the local community. Our monthly partners, who we like to refer to as “Friends of PCC”, are instrumental in ensuring 417 families have the help they need. Become A Friend of PCC
Are there other ways to get involved?
Each year PCC hosts several community events, including our Annual Banquet in the spring and our Walk for Life in the fall. Invite your friends and family to attend one of these events with you.
How about volunteering at PCC?
Due to the sensitive nature of our work, we utilize relatively few volunteers. Volunteers serve as client coaches and in specially trained support roles. Because these volunteers are often working directly with clients, we require an application process, background check, interview, in-depth training, and specified time commitments. If you are interested in joining our volunteer wait list, we would be happy to discuss the requirements with you. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
