Project Coordinator: Full-Time (35 hours)

A Christian, life-affirming ministry founded in 2000, PCC’s mission is to offer hope and practical help for women and men facing unplanned pregnancy. We do this by offering free, confidential services including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, one-on-one coaching and education on topics including pregnancy, parenting and personal development. Our service area includes Springfield and southwest Missouri.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the person in this position will provide high-level development and fundraising support by:

  • assisting in the planning and execution of all PCC events and community presentations
  • representing PCC at community events as needed, which will require some evening and weekend hours
  • managing data for all Development functions in multiple databases
  • coordinating tasks and schedules for weekly development volunteers

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Development team and Executive Director to schedule and coordinate all community events and presentations including, but not limited to, the Annual
  • Banquet, Walk for Life, Table Host Event, church and civic presentations and college campus outreach activities
  • Act as PCC liaison for community event guests, stakeholders and vendors
  • Oversee data management in multiple databases and software programs
  • Produce mailing lists and reports for Development projects and initiatives
  • Manage all aspects of registration for major events
  • Provide printed and other promotional materials to churches, businesses and other community organizations upon their request
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and tracking

Skills:

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with multiple tasks and projects at hand
  • Detail oriented with strong technical knowledge
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Flexible and adaptable style, humble attitude
  • Resourceful, productive, efficient and skilled in problem solving
  • Self-directed and able to work independently, but also a team player
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional in appearance and attitude

Qualifications

  • Commitment to Christ and willingness to courageously do Christ’s will in the ministry
  • Passionate about promoting PCC’s mission and vision
  • Three to five years’ experience in database or project management in professional environment
  • Somewhat flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend events
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
