Our mission continues! I’m pleased to announce that our team is continuing to serve clients with excellence in proactive and creative ways.
We remain committed to engaging with clients through meaningful methods via phone calls, texting, and website inquiries and, thanks to our partnership with Heartbeat International’s OptionLine, we can connect with clients 24/7. Although the center was closed this past week, our client services team will begin seeing clients for pregnancy testing and ultrasounds again this week, with limited personnel and COVID-19 best practices.
We are also engaging with our clients and community in new and exciting ways:
- While coaching calls have continued, we are finalizing a plan with a HIPAA-compliant vendor to begin virtual face-to-face visits.
- As part of our Earn While Your Learn program, we plan to bring group classes online within a couple of weeks through an interactive application that allows us to provide quality education to our clients and their support networks while helping them to be safe and healthy.
- We are communicating with other local nonprofits and our clients to meet essential needs such as diapers and wipes when and where needed via no-contact methods.
While none of us would have wished for this, we are seeing God move in wonderful ways. Not only is He providing resources and wisdom to allow PCC to rise to the occasion, He is also moving in people’s hearts. Our clients’ needs felt overwhelming to them before COVID-19, and now more than ever, they are reaching out to PCC for the calm, compassionate voice they need during these uncertain times.
Also as a result of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the 20th Anniversary Banquet until Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center. If you have already registered for the Banquet, Ali will be reaching out to you to make the appropriate adjustments to your reservation. You can also find more detailed information here.
Please know we have been thinking about and praying for you, and it’s never lost on me that your support is the reason we are able to offer hope, help and life to these vulnerable families.
Together, we’re in the business of hope. And just as with every circumstance, we walk forward with faith and courage, trusting God and loving others well.
Thank you, and God bless you!
