Springfield, MO— August 7, 2019Today Mark Hill, KICK Station Manager, presented a check for $6,400 – the proceeds from the 7th Annual Big Talker Shootout Golf Tournament – to Pregnancy Care Center (PCC).  This investment in saving lives and strengthening families resulted from more than 250 golfers participating in this closest-to-the-pin nine-hole tournament held June 6-8, 2019.

This year’s presenting sponsor was ESC, Inc. Consulting Engineers, a full-service engineering firm providing mechanical, process, electrical, civil, automation and structural engineering services to a diverse client base.

Scott Bybee, ESC’s President and CEO had this to say about investing in PCC’s mission: “The more important legacy we can leave is by supporting ministries, The Pregnancy Care Center being a primary example. They are changing lives. Those folks are coming into that building with guilt, shame and fear, and they’re walking out with faith, hope and love. It’s a transformation, and we are just excited to be a part of that.”

Next year’s tournament is already planned for June 11-13, 2020 at the Betty Allison/Oscar Blom Golf Course.  For more information about golfing or volunteering, contact Mark Hill, Station Manager, KICK Radio, 417-831-0995
